Another wonderful Coolum Kite Festival has come and gone. Our thanks to the Organisers, all their sponsors and their huge team of volunteers that make this event such a success and so much fun every year. Our thanks to the public as well, their conversation, questions, smiles and delight make this weekend a very special one.

It was wonderful to meet the new International and National visitors for their first time at Coolum and to welcome back those who have been before. But it was also very pleasing to see a lot of well known and very talented Australian kiteflyers return to the beach this year after a long absence. We all had a great time, thats for certain.

So sadly, it's time to shake the sand out of the shoes and kite bags and wait out the months again for the Coolum Calendar to roll around till next year.
